[ If this is his reward for coming back alive, Leo can finally understand why Percy Jackson gets himself the next best thing to dead so often. Could he maybe order another three quests? 'Cause this? This is great. Awesome, even, he thinks as he presses her up against he worktable, hands slipping under her shirt.
Oh, yeah. Bring on the near-death experiences. He can use some more of this, for sure. He doesn't even care that the entrance to Bunker 9 is still wide open; it's just him and Natalie, and that's all that matters. ]
[ Percy tends to get a grateful girlfriend who will flip him over her shoulder for getting himself into such a situation. Leo just gets someone who thought he'd be back earlier, pictured the worst possible scenario for him, and nearly fell over when he and the rest finally showed up at the gates.
Natalie hates waiting. It had been really bad when Enjolras was gone for an extended period of time but her boyfriend?
As soon as they get a moment to themselves, she's launching herself at him instead of the other way around, knocking some tools off the worktable when she bumps against it, black denim skirt hitched up a little too high over her dark blue leggings. Hesitantly, she drops a hand from running through his hair to lean against the table, hoisting herself up. ]
[ One of his hands moves to her thigh, helping keep her steady and maybe sliding the skirt up a little more. Every time they part from a kiss, he mumbles a breathy apology. They'd run into some trouble; his arm still hurts under the bandages, but there's a good distraction in front of him now, and he intends to take full advantage of it. ]
[ She laughs quietly, only then realizing how many injuries he has. Natalie rests a hand gingerly over one of the bandages, dropping her gaze briefly to inspect him with a tiny, concerned frown. ]
[ Careful, she almost says, raking her fingers through his hair instead. Her other hand sneaks under his shirt, lingering somewhere over his abdomen and traveling further up his chest absently. There's something she was supposed to remind him about, but that can wait until later. ]
[ Who cares about being careful? He's alive, he's home, he's got his girlfriend here in his arms... Is there a better welcome home present? Leo can't think of one, but for now he has one hand on the small of her back while the other slides down her leg. ]
[ She has secured him between her knees, grinning stupidly into each little kiss and losing herself in every longer one. Quietly, she makes a happy noise from the back of her throat, sliding her fingers up the back of his neck and cradling his head. Easily, it all says more than she wants to let on: she missed him terribly. ]
[ That's a comfortable position, as far as Leo's concerned. He smiles into the kiss, huffing a laugh at that little sound and pulling her closer. When they do break away, even for a second, he sounds smug as he says: ]
[ Natalie agrees, wrinkling her nose as she smirks at him. Playfully, she kisses under his chin, making her way around his jaw until she can nuzzle under his ear. See? She's totally affectionate when she wants to be. ]
[ Or, well, he would if she hadn't done that and distracted him. He rolls his head to the side to give her more room, his grin widening as he just lets himself enjoy the attention. Hey, he's been working hard on that quest - he totally deserves a little R&R, and this is his favorite way to do it. ]
[ Agh, he was really hoping she'd ignore that and continue. He makes a soft, appreciate sound at the attention to his ear. But he follows her lead with a quick touch of his lips to hers before following her jawline around, and down to the crook of her neck, planting kisses along his path. At her collarbone, he pauses, grazing his teeth lightly over the skin. ]
[ Natalie has concerned herself with other important matters such as slowly tugging at his shirt, not quite taking it off but enough to expose warm skin. Her neck feels hot under his kisses and she sighs in response to the attention. Message: conveyed, but it's not like she's going to stop him any time soon. ]
[ He smiles against her skin, pressing closer to her. With her hands at his shirt, he has half a mind to go ahead and pull it off, but that would mean pulling away, and he's not ready to do that just yet. For now, he'll continue where he is, sucking or grazing his teeth gently along her neck and shoulder - careful not to leave a mark anywhere visible, of course, but everywhere else is fair game. ]
[ With a thoughtless sigh and a flutter of her lashes, Natalie pushes her hips forward with what little leverage she has in her current position. That's a sensitive spot for her the curve between her neck and shoulder and she has half a mind to remove her own shirt. Instead, she wraps her legs around him, linking her ankles possessive oh behind Leo. ]
[ He hums in approval. Anything that brings them closer is good, as far as he's concerned. One problem though - there are still a few decidedly annoying layers between his hands and her skin, so both of his hands go for the edge of her shirt as he goes to kiss Natalie on the lips again -
And of course, that's when a tiny mechanical bird zips between them, coming out of literally nowhere. Caelum, you've just earned yourself a an irritated glance. ]
Go away. [ He tells it, before leaning in to resume where they left off after being so rudely interrupted. ]
[ Leo swats at the bird, still flitting around. ] You've been gone for, like, two months, and now you decide to say hello? Where'd you even come from, you stupid bird?! Go bother someone else.
[ Caelum gives him an undignified squawk and takes off just as quickly as he appeared. Shaking his head, Leo looked back at Nat with an apologetic shrug. ]
[ Eventually, someone's going to come looking for them, but that hasn't even occurred to him yet. Oh well; he's enjoying the moment, nipping playfully at her lower lip with a grin. ]

I'm fine, Nat. It's just a scratch.
[ Now can we get back to the fun part, please? That kissing thing is pretty awesome; how about they do that some more? ]
no subject
I guess, if you really wanted since you were on a quest and everything. [ Sigh sigh. Translation: yes, please. ]

Geez - [ She snorts softly, dissolving into laughter. ]
What's that for, dude? [ Of course she doesn't expect an answer, still keeping her distance until it decides to leave them alone. ]

So, where were we?
[ Hopefully that's the end of that.
(Meanwhile, on the other side of camp, there's a post-quest meeting missing two counselors.) ]
no subject
I think we were... here?
[ Relieved that the bird is gone, Leo leans in again for that kiss he wanted before. ]
no subject
Yep, this is exactly where they should be. Never mind that Leo was actually on the quest. ]
