"Oh," she murmurs in a throaty whisper. She keeps her hand running along his body slowly as she grants him a sleepy smile. "I was hoping you'd still be asleep. I wanted to wake you up."
She stretches a little. "Close your eyes," she whispers, her tone playful. "Pretend you're asleep for me. Until you can't resist the urge to open your eyes."
But he's still sleepy, so if she wants him to close his eyes again, he will. It isn't hard to pretend when he's only half-awake, anyway, so with a deep breath, he settles back into his pillow, paying vague attention to her touch.
Her fingers trail along his body, delicately reverent of every contour. Her lips follow where her fingers have first traveled, sliding across his skin and peppering it with kisses.
"Don't wake up." she whispers again, and her mouth curves in a smile against his flesh.
The response she gets is sleepy at best, more of an unintelligible groan than anything. Words were there, but they don’t make it past his mouth as he sinks somewhere halfway between waking and sleep. Her touch is pleasure, gently willing him to relax with everything she does, her lips sending a gentle shiver down his spine.
