If Leo's honest with himself, he just doesn't want this to end badly. He wants to go out on a good note, so stopping before things go south - in a bad way, at least - is probably the best course to take.

It's clear that he's reluctant to stop from the way he still keeps her close, but he started this, so he needs to man up and deal with it. "I don't want to," he mumbles, kissing her jaw, "but I don't think they'll let us do this here. Owner thinks she's my mom or something."

What is 'this' supposed to be, anyway? He has to wonder. Whatever their relationship is, it's dragged on for a while without being acknowledged, but he supposes he won't have to worry about it later.
