Maya ran over to the water's edge and stopped just before the waves could hit her feet. There was something she rarely did, she pushed her transformation to the surface herself. All the time she was forcing it back down, trying to keep herself from getting all fandancy when she didn't want to be. Cause someone would see. And in her apartment it was one of the few places quiet enough she wasn't all jittery she just let herself be calm and relaxed. But right now she let herself go, before the water would force that side of herself out anyway.
And it was amazing.
She'd already sunblocked, and she didn't want to think about feathery tanlines being an issue. Especially since she had a complexion that didn't really suit tanning in the first place. She'd end up having to deal with red peeling sunburns and molting, which was an awful thought. She shook that thought off as she dove into the water splashing and shrieking just a little at the sudden cold. Such a perfect place for everyone. Provided the wolves don't end up smelling like wet dog in the car, was that a thing?
"Please tell me you're not one of those people that swims with a shirt on?" Maya called back to Stiles after she'd gotten her childish flailing and jumping out of the way. She was far too pleased by this whole beach deal, fortunately she didn't really feel shame after her powers became a thing. Fear yes, shame no.
