Stiles could probably count on one hand the number of times he's seen her in full-on siren mode. It was... weird, honestly, but what else was he expecting? He and the others were setting up the towels and umbrellas and coolers while Maya splashed around like a kid in a rain puddle, and the shriek made him laugh in amusement. This was definitely one of his better ideas, for sure. Even Lydia seemed to think so, as she settled herself in a beach chair to tan for a while.
"Hey, just because we're at the beach does not mean I want to look like a peeling tomato when we go back to school," he replied indignantly, pulling a bottle of sunscreen from one of the bags. "Lemme put on some sunscreen first, for crying out loud."
