Maya stretched out on Stile's bed reading a comic book as she waited for Stiles to finish whatever he was working on. She was wearing bright pink jeans and a white tank top, casually stretching every so often and squirming around trying to get comfortable. She didn't like the mattress, not that it was lumpy or anything she just wasn't finding a good position to lay down and kept moving around trying different ones.

She also had to keep in mind Stiles was in the room (it was his room after all), so even while she listened to music on her headphones, she couldn't hum along with the tune. Or sing. Or any of what she wanted to do. Of course, if he wasn't in the room she couldn't anyway, her voice carried too easily and it could lead to a few people becoming suddenly endeared to her when she left.

She was getting better at controlling this, but... it wasn't going well enough she could risk it right now. Besides, no matter how bored or uncomfortable she was, Stiles had work to do. And if she kept telling herself that she might follow this line of thought.

Kitsune. They're the new thing in town, so of course Stiles has gone into research-until-he-drops mode. Scott will have to know if they're dangerous somehow - not that Kira's dangerous, really; the girl probably couldn't hurt a fly even if she talks about death like it's no big thing, as weird as that is. But they've got to be sure, right? And even if it doesn't turn up that Kira's some kind of a threat to them all, at least this way she'll have a better idea of her powers.

Theoretically.

There are books from the library on Japanese mythology scattered all around his room - fairy tales, nonfiction, even things about foxes used symbolically as a whole, not just in Japanese culture - along with some important printouts from all the websites he's looked at so far. There are still more pages left in Google search, but he's sitting in just the right position that he can see every time Maya squirms, and it's... Gah, no, he's supposed to be focused here. Focus, Stiles, this could be life or death.

...It would help if she'd stop.

"Hey, how am I supposed to finish researching this stuff if you keep moving around like that?" His tone is accusatory, but after she'd come to know him, she'll know that he's only frustrated with the distraction, if not completely against it. If he weren't busy, he'd be all over that right now.

Maya looked at him over the pages of the thin cheap paper book she had, "I wouldn't be if you had a nicer mattress, or..." she paused and reached into the back of her shirt. Feeling a thin layer of feathers on her back. That normally didn't happen when she wasn't in the water. And some of the feathers were caught under her bra strap. That was why she couldn't get comfortable. "Hold on, I think I can stop distracting you."

Of course, she said this, but the next thing she does is slip one arm into her white tank top, then squirmed a bit, then back out. Then repeated this with her other arm. Then pulled her sports bra out of the neck of her shirt. "There, go back to your research. I'll stop moving around so much, happy?"

She set the sports bra down next to her, reached under her shirt to adjust her feathers, which totally innocently pushed her shirt up to show off her stomach, just shy of showing off anything else. Then lay back down with her eyes back in that comic book she had. "You're still staring aren't you?"

"Hey, my parents got me that mattress when I was like seven, okay? It's got sentimental value." Stiles sniffed, feeling vaguely offended. He started to turn back, but before he could, Maya was twisting in just the right way to get a guy's attention - any guy's; it's totally reasonable for him to be staring, even Scott would have to watch that - his lips parting when she produced the sports bra and set it down. His eyes flicked between her and the garment warily, not finding this an improvement.

And then she caught him, and he immediately turned around in his chair, ruffling some of the papers he'd printed out in an effort to look busy. "Wh- staring? Me? I can't believe you'd think that; I'm totally... I'm way more, uh, chivalrous than that."

And the way he cleared his throat was not at all suspicious, either.

Maya definitely didn't stretch slightly to make her bust a bit more noticable, and she definitely didn't prolong this action to make sure that Stiles was looking. Smiling behind her comic book as she was extra distracting. "I don't mind, better than my usual luck. Either they don't notice, make fun, or only noticed while I was singing. Can't wait till I grow out of uncontrolled allure."

She used her squirming to make sure her shirt was pushed up a bit more than before, and make sure it stayed that way. Just a hint of the bottom of her breasts to the open air. A lot of blue-green feathers visible on her stomach. "But, you do have research to do, so eyes front."

"Can you stop that? I've got work to do over here." This was so unfair; she was obviously doing this on purpose. Where did she get off?

In bed, his brain so helpfully provided. Stiles, no, he told himself. Bad. No getting into bed with the potentially dangerous siren. You aren't Derek Hale, alright?

Lips pursing in frustration, he couldn't help but watch her squirm a little more, eyeing those feathers. "Hey, are you getting more feathers?"

"Stop what?" Maya wear's fake innocence fairly well. Squirming a little more playfully just to keep the attention.

"It's been happening more often. At first it was just when I was wet. You know, like after showers and when I went swimming, not... well," she paused, not finishing that statement. She smoothed her feathers out a little. Curiously she didn't develop any feathers on her arms or legs. "I don't know what all my triggers are. I know it happens around Scott and Derek... I guess it's a reaction to the wolf thing? A few normal people I've accidentally charmed also cause me to feather a bit. And you."

She sits up, which just reaffirms how she's not wearing her bra right now, "Any ideas?"

Of course when she said "wet," his mind brought up some thoughts that were definitely not about water. Clearing his throat, he looked away. "Yeah, some, uh, supernatural guys I guess, have that reaction. Might be an alpha thing." Derek wasn't an alpha anymore, after being knocked down to almost-normal - normal for werewolf standards, anyway - but... Okay, Stiles couldn't have all the answers, alright? Sue him.

Lips pursed, his voice went up a notch as he suggested, "Well, maaaaybe you're accidentally charming me?" Every time she's around him... It was a legitimate concern, okay? Especially after how they'd met at the lake.

Freaking siren and her... not... wearing a bra, oh god. That was definitely not accidental.

"I'm not, trust me. When I first got my powers I accidentally charmed some boys, it was... special," Maya looked away and stopped being quite so obvious for a little bit. The whole accidental whammy generally lead to a lot of heartache, trouble, and damage. Some of it to Maya, it pretty much sucked.

But once she finished feeling sorry for herself she returned to her playful little self, "What you're feeling is plain old virgin lust. You want me."

"Well, yeah, that kind of thing happens when you've got a girl half-naked on your own bed," he said in exasperation, heaving a sigh. "You know what? I don't wanna know what happened to those guys. I've got a kitsune problem to figure out."

Give him some credit. He's trying.

"This isn't what a half naked girl looks like. You remember that, right," Maya crossed her legs and lay back down on the bed. She really should just let him get done with his research. That'd be the mature and responsible thing to do.

"But are they actually a problem yet, or are you just paranoid that they could be and making a big crisis to avoid the fact there's a girl in your bed? One that would be half naked if she thought you'd actually come over and have fun with that."

"Might as well be!" He huffed.

"No they're not a problem yet, but they're not called trickster spirits for nothing. Kira doesn't even know much about her powers, which could be problem, depending on how you look at it. We don't know what she can do." This is a Big Deal, Maya; how could you not see that? He just made a face at her with her distractions.

Maya almost takes that as a suggestion. But his next comment stops her. Kira was pretty much in the same boat Maya was in, Maya did her best not to dwell on the mistakes she's made with her powers, she didn't know what she could do until after it happened. Then it took her a while to figure it out, on her own. Which... wasn't fun.

She slid off the bed and walked over to the desk, obviously not trying to be distracting anymore. "How about a deal? You tell me right now if you think you can actually focus, we spend an hour seriously trying to figure this out, and then we take a break. Or if I've been too distracting and you need some... unwinding I have a ballgag in my backpack, we fool around, then we get back to it. And I actually help."

"Because finding out about your special gifts on your own is not any sort of fun."

That stopped him dead, staring at her in shock. His mouth worked silently for a few moments, trying to find his voice and words to say with it. What was she doing with a ballgag?

"...You know my dad could come home anytime, right?"

Maya climbs up on Stiles's desk in front of him, "And fooling around with a girl will be the worst thing you're involved in?"

Maya smiles, just a bit, in response to all his shocked flailing. It's so cute that he does that. "We get it out of our system, safely so you don't have to worry about my singing, then get back to the research part of the evening. So you only have to explain what you're researching. Besides, maybe fooling around will make me unfeather, so that won't be a thing you have to explain."

It was too warm for her to wear something she'd usually use to cover her feathers, and while she takes advantage of people assuming she's just covered in feather tattoos she doesn't think that'll work here. Stiles also makes faces when she whammies people to not notice she's not as human as they are, and that's people that aren't his father.

Something about this was epically unfair. Any other girl that made an offer like that - that he knew and liked and could at least be friends with, like Heather or Lydia, even if one of those was dead and other was a banshee and still didn't like him like that even now that she was actually talking to him - well, just about any other girl making the offer would have excited him and he'd be more than willing. The thing with Maya was the whole... siren thing, mythological girls that seduced men to their deaths and all.

Minor details, a voice in the back of his head told him. Besides, Maya was right - he'd done so much worse than date a girl who could kill him if she wanted - like nearly getting himself or his dad killed, helping Scott take out Derek's crazy uncle, for all the good that did, breaking and entering, temporarily dying and going insane... All typical things to deal with when your best friend is a werewolf, though, right?

Outwardly, he stared at Maya with a flat look, though if she knew him well enough yet, his eyes clearly showed that he was weighing his options here. On the one hand, he was very tempted, but on the other, he'd lose all street cred when it comes to dating deadly women. But that was the point of the ballgag.

Well. All things considered...

"You are not making this easy for me, you know that?"

"I'm not even using my powers on you, this is just a girl who's really bored who wants to fool around," Maya figured he was debating the offer. Not that all boys think about sex, just that Stiles matched that cliche pretty well. Most boys didn't know what she was, so the feathers were a problem if they weren't properly encouraged.

He was probably having the same old debate he always had over this. She's a hot willing consenting party, but she could probably lead him to death, or betray Scott, or whatever else he worries about. It was bored now, she was bored with that. "And since you're so worried I'm a dangerous monster, even if your best friends with a werewolf and would in a heartbeat have sex with that banshee, I keep that ballgag so you can be absolutely sure I'm not in your head."

"Plus, it helps to take a step back from a problem and come at it fresh after doing someone else."

Eyes narrowed, Stiles continued to frown for a moment. It was annoying how much sense it made, and he was tempted to say no purely out of spite. He kind of had a thing about manipulation, after the whole deal with Nogitsune.

But finally, rolling his eyes, Stiles heaved a sigh and threw his hands in the air helplessly. "Fine! Fine. Whatever. Just give me the stupid ballgag before I change my mind."

Maya slipped off the desk and rummages through her bag, far too pleased with herself. Coming out with a ballgag on a simple leather strap, the gag is pink. And honestly, Maya wouldn't be trying so hard if Stiles just said yes earlier. "So..." Maya put herself into Stiles's lap, kissing him, "Wanted to do that while I can. And ask, on your bed, the desk, right here?"

Maya, with all her subtlety and grace, ground into his crotch. She put the ballgag around her neck like a necklace first, still looking just happy to get to play. But the look faltered for a moment, "...If I snap my fingers twice, it means stop. For, you know, in case." Maya fluffed her hair over the strap as she secured it into place. Then slipped her shirt off over her head. Your move now, Mr. thing about manipulation.

It was beyond easy to see how self-satisfied Maya was, now that he'd given in, and Stiles couldn't help but feel irritated about it. Another round, lost - depending on how you looked at it, that is, because on the other hand, he, a virgin, was about to get laid.

Scott's going to hate him later.

Not his problem. There was a girl on his lap, kissing him, deliberately grinding into him, oh God, there is no way that qualified as fair. Taking a breath to try and steady himself, Stiles managed to say, "I, uh - t-the bed might be... easier."

O-oh, shirt off. That was... Okay, that was good. He pursed his lips tightly as he looked down at her, no trace of shame on his face, only hesitation. And then he was shaking himself out of it as a thought occurred to him, and he looked up, mouth open.

"I, um. I don't have any, uh..." Condoms. He didn't have any condoms. Maybe if he'd had a little warning, but it's not like he'd expected her to show up in his room after school with a ballgag of all things and just start undressing. Granted, she'd still had her shirt on when the bra came off, but that was beside the point.

Maya rolled her eyes, and looked a little huffy, but the look was a bit muted by the gag. She didn't get out of his lap as she twisted over to the desk to scribble on a piece of paper.

I'm on the pill. There were a few too many near misses due to the whole accidentally lust provoking thing.

She raised an eyebrow as she let him read and then got up and, after a quick look to confirm how much effect she was having, started toward his bed, wiggling out of her shorts as she went. Then the panties came off as she was sitting on the edge and she took her time with the motion to make sure that Stiles watched the entire thing.

O-Oh. Did she really have to move like that, just for a piece of paper...? Though, not gonna lie, the friction did some great things to him.

"Oh, ah, okay. Yeah, I can... I can see that," he said, nodding. Oh, and she was totally doing that little wiggle thing on purpose - he's about to have sex with a complete jackass of a siren; what was his life? He could only sit there watching her for a moment before he jerked his eyes away, struggling to get his own shirt off before he did something stupid, like forget or just keep staring at the show she was giving him.

Well, the shorts were pretty tight, wiggling was the best way to get out of them. Anything other than that? Bonus. It was definitely a slightly different thrill, only wearing the ballgag. She definitely had his complete attention, it was cute how he tried to keep some semblance of dignity.

She got up off the bed and looked Stiles right in the eyes. Then, so subtly, undid the front of Stiles's pants, reached in and gently started to rub him. Slow, methodical, and not breaking eye contact. Like she was daring him to make a move.

And she's still a better choice than anything Derek's done.

The shirt was finally off, tossed to the floor carelessly, and then he was back to staring blatantly. She wasn’t even doing the siren thing, but she didn’t have to; she was right, in that he was still a virgin suffering from pretty freaking high levels of lust sometimes, and he definitely did not want to die without having sex at least once. Besides, even if she was a siren, Stiles still liked Maya. She wasn’t Lydia, but Lydia was basically a goddess in human form and would probably never give him the time of day like this and although he was still besotted with her, even he knew there was a point where you had to just move on.

Maya, for her part, had some very enticing curves, especially naked, wow. And the way she looked at him - if she hadn’t been wearing the ballgag, it would have set him on edge, but at least now, he had insurance on that point. Still, when she started undoing his pants, his lips parted in surprise, and he started to protest, “I - I can… do tha…” His voice trailed off halfway through the word, turning into a quiet gasp that had his mouth dropping and eyes closing.

“O-Or you can do it,” Stiles corrected himself, voice light. “That - That’s fine, too.”

One of those things Maya's been aware of is where people's attentions are. It was just a natural trait of sirens, she guessed, she knew when guys were checking her out, when girls were waiting for a guy to call, guys smitten by girls that will never see them. So she was aware that when she had Stiles without Lydia, he was interested. And if Lydia was around, Maya suddenly was invisible. But she didn't carry any grudge, she couldn't sense much interest being returned, so she wasn't hurting either of them if she made a move. And if Lydia was the type of girl to get mad that Stiles found someone else, that's even worse.

Maya's eyes were smiling as she broke Stiles's ability to talk with her efforts she stepped in close to him and pressed her face into his neck and shoulder. She wanted very much to kiss him right now but that wasn't really an option as things stood. It was unfortunate, but until he trusted his own feelings enough she didn't need her gag in.

Her free hand moved his pants and boxers down his legs as she gently pumped his shaft, stopping occasionally to run her thumb over the head. She glanced up at him and flicked her eyes over to the bed hoping he was aware enough to see the suggestion. Not that she had much problem continuing right then and there.
