[ It's another busy day at work, but Fred is around, and waiting for her while George is off helping a customer. Tonks finds him first, and he simply raises his eyebrows expectantly when he spots her. ]
[She hesitates, only for a fraction of a moment, when she's realized it's busy. But she steels herself and holds out the tupperware of liquid jello, raising her eyebrows as she waits for him to at least take a closer look.
And, regardless of whether he gets closer or not, she's charmed it to splash the nearest person in the face with some after the lid's been removed.]
[ Well then. If anyone’s complained about the magenta robes of an employee at Weasley’s Wizarding Wheezes clashing with the trademark Weasley hair, their eyes are in for an entirely new sort of eyesore. Fred doesn’t react immediately, standing as still and tall as he ever could as the remnants of the very non-gelatinous jello drip down his nose and onto his robes. ]
Grape, Tonks? Really, I thought you had better taste than that.
[ Luckily for him, they’re standing near a rather fun stand. With just a flick of his wand, a number of teacups launch themselves from the shelves at Tonks, each one snapping and biting at her in a way that wouldn’t hurt, but would prove difficult to escape. ]
[The sight of it- well, she only feels slightly horrible about all the grape jello on him. Dora smiles a little, laughing at it.]
Bloody good look for you.
[Unluckily for her, she hadn't been expecting that retaliation. Shrieking, all in good nature, she drops the tupperware and swats at the teacups while reaching for her own wand...
And his hand. Because if she's going down in this, he's going with her. Give him a taste of his own medicine.]
The teacup motif suit you, Tonks. Very cute. Endearing, even.
[ He laughs as she tries to drag him into it, and the teacups, of course, are indiscriminate in choosing their victims. But Fred knows what it takes to keep them away, so there’s that. After producing a sugar cube in hand, the teacups on his arm immediately go after that instead of him. ]
[She should have known better. However, now with her wand in hand, she's able to summon some sugar cubes of her own to distract the piranha like teacups from her.]
[She scoffed at that... and to that look, she just raised an eyebrow. Fred was smarter than to use her full name, she at least took comfort in knowing that....
Dora sighed and shrugged at the next question.]
Mom bloody went on about how I wouldn't make it in the muggle world if I ever got roped into undercover work. And jello seemed the easiest thing to make, yeah?
[But the annoyance was really only half-hearted. She at least realized how ridiculous she was being- how this whole thing was. On that note, he was still dripping with grape jello- or what was supposed to be the jello.
She smiled coyly at him as she nudged him.]
That's a good look for you, by the way... Soaked in grape jello that never really set.
Good enough to be an auror, but I reckon you might be right, [ he says loftily, brushing off his robes under the pretense that Tonks missed a spot. ] Auror training could never prepare you for our school of tricks, could it?
